In her first season with the Pioneers, the Portageville, MO native made an immediate impact on the program, finishing second on the team in kills this season with 338, first in solo blocks with 56, first in total blocks with 148, and first in blocks per set with 1.03. In the conference standings, Saxton finished fourth in total kills, second in hitting percentage (.339% on 796 TA), and third in blocks per set, which allowed the Pioneers to pace the AMC in the category. And lastly, on a national level, Saxton finished 49th overall in blocks per set and 34th nationally in hitting percentage.

Saxton marks the first Pioneer and member of the Pioneer Volleyball program to earn All-American honors since Crowley's Ridge College joined the NAIA (2016). Congratulations, Amiyah, and a job well done! #GOPIONEERS
