Baseball Sees Three Earn 2026 All-Conference Honors- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 4/27/26
Paragould, Ark. — Three Pioneer Baseball members earned recognition in the 2026 American Midwest Conference postseason awards as juniors JP Wills and Aiden Smith were named Second Team All-Conference, and senior Jordan Brown received the Champion of Character honor.
Wills, a catcher from Siloam Springs, AR, put together an impressive junior campaign, batting .364 with 46 RBIs and setting a single-season record with 10 homeruns over 43 games. He also recorded 10 doubles and totaled 51 hits in 140 at-bats, finishing with a .650 slugging percentage and a .474 on-base percentage for the year.
Smith, a utility player from Nashville, AR, was a key offensive force from the leadoff spot, starting all 46 games. He hit .411 on the season, scoring 60 runs and driving in 31, while slugging 6 homeruns. Smith tallied 14 doubles and 2 triples, posting a .625 slugging percentage and a .505 on-base percentage. Like Wills, Smith also left his mark on the program, setting the program's single-season hits record with 69 in 168 at-bats.
Brown, a RHP from San Antonio, TX, earned the conference's Champion of Character honor, awarded to one player from each team who best exemplifies integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership both on the field and in the classroom.

Along with the All-Conference awards, the AMC also recognizes scholar-athletes, students who have a 3.0 or better in the classroom. Pioneer Baseball had 19 members be awarded.
