Spring 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 5/1/26

Paragould, AR- The NAIA released the official list of Spring NAIA Scholar Athlete recipients this past Wednesday, April 29th. For the Pioneers' three spring sports, Baseball, Softball, and Golf, five athletes would be recognized. 

To be a NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student must meet the following criteria, 

1. Nominee must be a sophomore or above in academic standing;

2. Nominee must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale);

3. And the nominee must have been in attendance at the nominating institution for one full academic year. 

Seniors Dillon Broussard and Elijah Mayfield of Pioneer Baseball, along with Sophomores Aimee Buckley and Maddie Burris, and Senior Lilly Wessel of Pioneer Softball, were named among the recipients.
