Game One:
Crowley's Ridge- 3
Bacone College- 1
Paragould, Ark.- Game two proved to be the most interesting one of the weekend, as the Pioneers squeaked past the Warriors with a 3-1 win. Chance Arender played a big role in this game 2 victory, as the sophomore took the bump and chucked 7.0 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits and waiving a season-high 10 batters. Arender really found his groove midway through the game as he struck out the side in the third and fifth innings. CRC got on the board first with their first few swings of the game as Trey Gossett laid down a sac bunt to the second baseman and by showing his speed, forced a hurried throw causing an error and allowing Beton Lashley to score. JackHenry Glasgow took credit for the second RBI of the inning as he smashed a ball to the shortstop that was too much to handle allowing him to reach first and score Gossett from third. The Warriors would push one across in the 4th making it a 2-1 ball game, but CRC didn't falter and took a 2-run lead once more in the 6th as Trey Drake singled up the gut driving in Corby Seib. Arender seemed to run into trouble in the top of the 7th as he found himself in a tight spot with Warrior runners on the corners and 2 outs but the Jonesboro, AR native called "game" by collecting his 10th strikeout as the final out of the contest.

Game Two:
Crowley's Ridge- 18
Bacone College- 10
Paragould, Ark.- In game three, the Pioneers' bats seemed to come to life as they manufactured a whopping 18 runs on 13 hits ending the series finale in a blowout fashion. The Pioneers generated runs in the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th innings of the game. The first 3 runs that CRC scored in the first inning were highlighted by Andrews Brown's 2 RBI single to left center. JackHenry Glasgow toed the rubber and saw his shutout broken up in the third with a solo shot home run to left field cutting the CRC lead 3-1. The Pioneers' big day ignited in the 4th inning as CRC knocked in 6 runs with Trey Gosset capping the rally in fashion with a three-run shot to left field. After this bombardment attack, the Warriors somehow seemed to catch their second wind by answering with 6 runs of their own in the top half of the 5th cutting the CRC lead down to 9-7. Once more CRC changed the tide by scoring 9 more runs over the next two innings creating a gap that would prove unjumpable. The Pioneers went to the bullpen for the first time in the series for the 6th and 7th innings allowing Mike Sharp Jr. to relive Glasgow and Nick Garrett to shut the door in the 18-10 win.
