CRC Baseball fell to the Eagles of Williams Baptist University this afternoon after a big offensive inning from the Eagles sealed the Pioneers' fate.

Paragould, Ark. CRC came out swinging in the mid-week contest as Matthew Parker's single in the bottom of the first scored two, but CRC quickly faced repercussions as the Eagles offense rebounded by reclaiming the lead with three runs off two hits in the bottom of the second. The third inning saw eggs across both sides before the Eagles rattled off ten runs in the top of the fourth, overwhelming CRC. The Pioneer offense responded with two final runs in the mid-week defeat with James Wilson scoring both runs, one off Brylan Honeycutt's single up the middle in the fourth and another off Parker Gordon's hot shot to center in the sixth. JackHenry Glasgow took the loss for CRC surrendering ten runs (eight earned) off eight hits, walking four and striking out five. CRC scattered eight hits with Kyle Russell and James Wilson going (2-3) in the loss.
