Pioneers Drop Home Opener

PARAGOULD, AR - For the third straight game of the season, the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers did not take advantage of a solid offensive effort and fell to the Mustangs of Central Baptist College 109-78. CRC is averaging 78 points per game this season, but finds themselves at 0-3 in the early schedule.

Central Baptist capitalized on the Pioneers poor defensive effort by shooting 53.8% from the floor on the night, including a 12 of 17 effort from behind the three point line. The Mustangs also out rebounded the Pioneers 47-25 on the night.

Central Baptist was led in scoring by Andre Nikita with 20 points.

Crowley's Ridge was led in scoring by Randy Stanley with 14 points. Donnie Stapleton added 13 points in the loss.

The Pioneers will hit the road to play at Blue Mountain College on Thursday, November 9.
