PIONEERS FALL SHORT AGAINST UNDEFEATED EAGLES

PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College came out for the second half and had their best shooting half of the season but it was not enough to overcome Central Methodist University as the Eagles came away with a 97-87 win over the Pioneers.
CRC shot 21 of 33 for 63.6% in the second half but could only cut the lead down to as low as eight points in the second half. Central Methodist led 54-37 at the half.
Brian Egejuru led all scorers as he carried the Eagles on the night with 42 points. Egejuru was 14 of 25 from the floor including six for seven from behind the three point line.
Donnie Stapleton and Chris Bernard led CRC with 20 points a piece in the loss. Randy Stanley added 18 points and eight rebounds on the night. Hunter Turner added 13 points for the Pioneers.
