WALNUT RIDGE, AR - Randy Stanley scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Donnie Stapelton added 13 points and eight rebounds, but it was not enough as the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College fell to Williams Baptist 99-62.
CRC shot 38.5%, (25-65) on the night and only managed a five for 20 shooting effort from behind the three point line on the night. The Pioneers also committed 27 turnovers in the loss. The Eagles led 50-23 at the halftime break after opening the game on a 9-0 run.
Williams Baptist shot 48.7% on the night and only committed 12 turnovers. The Eagles also scored 24 points off the CRC turnovers.
Crowley's Ridge will travel to Southern Arkansas on Saturday.
