HOLLY SPRINGS, MS - In a game that saw 22 lead changes and the score tied six times, the Rust College Bearcats held on for the 82-78 win.

Rust led by as many as 11 points in the first half, but CRC cut the lead to seven before the half at 41-34. CRC trimmed into the lead in the second half and tied the score 18 different times, but could never take the lead back.

Randy Stanley led the Pioneers with a double double of 21 points and 11 rebounds on the night. Montrel James and Chris Bernard each scored 16 points. Donovan Tritschler added 10 points in the loss.

Crowley's Ridge will take on Tougaloo in their next game on Saturday.
