Turnovers Hurt Pioneers in Home Loss

PARAGOULD, AR - Culver-Stockton College jumped out to an early 13-2 lead in the first 4:00 of play and never gave up the lead in route to a 86-69 win over the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College on Saturday.
Crowley's Ridge College was handcuffed with 29 turnovers on the afternoon. CRC could not take advantage of an equally bad day for the Wildcats with 27 turnovers of their own.
Four Pioneers scored a team high 10 points each in the balanced offensive effort for CRC. Randy Stanley, Beau Gramling, Caleb Barnes, and Austin Pike led Crowley's Ridge.
Mason Vires led the Wildcats with 16 points on the day.
CRC falls to 0-2 on the early season and will next play at Missouri Baptist University on Thursday night.
