Harding Overpowers Pioneers

SEARCY, AR – Harding University scored 39 points off of 28 Crowley's Ridge College turnovers and defeated the Pioneers 95-63 Saturday.

A 20-4 Harding run over the last three minutes of the first half and the first four minutes of the second half was the key stretch of the game. Harding went from a 33-29 lead to a 53-33 advantage during the run. Harding also had a 17-1 run over an eight-minute stretch that ended midway through the second half.

Crowley's Ridge committed 28 turnovers, 14 in each half. Harding had only 14 for the game.

Randy Stanley led Crowley's Ridge with 23 points on the night. Devin Graves added 11 points for the Pioneers.

Harding shot 44 percent in the first half and led 42-31 at the break. Crowley's Ridge shot 52 percent in the first half but its 14 turnovers led to 19 Harding points.
