PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College struggled through two halves of Friday night's home game with Barclay College, before finally pulling away in overtime for a 83-80 win.
Barclay led by as much as 14 points in the second half. Calvin McKinney made a three pointer for the Bears to put them up 53-39 with 13:39 to play in regulation. CRC started to chip away at the lead with a Braeden Williams basket with 4:24 to play and cut the lead to eight points. Beau Gramling made both free throws with 39 seconds to play to cut the lead to two points. Kyle Moore scored a basket off a steal with 23 seconds to play in regulation to tie the score at 69-69. Moore would score on another Barclay turnover with six second to play in regulation to send the game to overtime at 71-71.
Beau Gramling carried the Pioneers in the extra period scoring eight points. Gramling made two free throws with 3:08 to play in overtime, and followed with a three pointer to tie the score at 77-77 with 1:17 to play. He followed that with two free throws with one second left in the game to seal the win.
Gramling and Randy Stanley led the Pioneers with 17 points each in the win. Xavier Lumpkin came off the bench and scored 15 points and had five steals. Kyle Moore added 12 points on the night.
