PARAGOULD, Ark. - Crowley's Ridge College struggled late in the first half and fell behind by 22 at the half, and could not catch up as they lost to (RV) Central Baptist (Ark.) College 87-62.
CRC (1-6) struggled on the offensive end shooting 13 of 38 from the floor in the first half. Central Baptist capitalized with a 19 of 34 effort including five of nine from the three-point line to take the 49-27 lead into the half.
The Pioneers' defensive effort in the second half helped cut into the Mustangs' (3-2) lead. The Pioneers started the half on a 6-1 run over the first two minutes. CRC cut the lead to 15 points at 77-62 after Logan Willett knocked down two free throws late in the second half.
K.J. Corder led CRC with 21 points on the night. Bo Roberson added 15 points for the Pioneers.

Crowley's Ridge will take the Thanksgiving holiday week off before returning to action on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The Pioneers will tip-off against Rust (Miss.) College at 7 p.m.
