Red Wolves Flex Over Pioneers

JONESBORO, Ark. - Crowley's Ridge College took an early lead and trailed just 19-14 in the first eight minutes of the game before the Arkansas State University Red Wolves took control putting together a 16-0 run to claim a 35-14 advantage with 7:20 remaining in the opening half, en route to claiming a 115-49 victory.

Arkansas State (1-3) outscored Crowley's Ridge 38-9 over the final 13 minutes of the first half to grab a 57-23 lead at the half. ASU started the second half with a 19-3 run before going on to the win.

Braeden Williams led CRC (2-7) with nine points on the night and K.J. Corder added eight points.


UP NEXT

The Pioneers will take a week's break before hosting the Wildcats of Bethel (Tenn.) University. The game was previously scheduled to be played on Nov. 7th and is being made up on Saturday, Dec. 12 with the tipoff at 2 p.m.
