Pioneers Fall Short to Tigers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Crowley's Ridge College led by as much as six points early in the first half before Division One Tennessee State took a 10 point lead to the half and pulled out the 90-68 win.

CRC (3-10) started with hot shooting to lead early. The Pioneers led until the 14:00 mark in the first half. The Tigers put together a 9-0 scoring run to take and extend their lead.

Tennessee State (1-3) pushed up the tempo early in the second half and started to build their lead. TSU extended their lead to as much as 25 points.

Bo Roberson led the Pioneers with 15 points on the night. Kyle Moore added 11 points and K.J. Corder finished with 10 points in the loss.

Crowley's Ridge will finish the toughest part of their season with one more NCAA D1 team, Nashville's Lipscomb University. The Pioneers and Bisons will square off on Monday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m.
