PARAGOULD, Ark. - In a back and forth track meet of a game the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College pulled out a 100-94 win over Welch College (0-3). The score was tied seven times and there were eight lead changes before CRC (5-11) finally pulled away for the win.

Five Pioneers scored in double figures. C.J. Maxwell and Braeden Williams led the Pioneers with 22 points each and Montrell James added 15 points on the night. Freshman combination Riley Clairday and Alex Mero each scored 11 points.

It's a short respite as the Pioneers will lace up against Bacone (Okla.) College on Saturday for an afternoon tilt. Tipoff from the Carter Activities Center is at 3 p.m.
