Roberson Double-Double Leads to Pioneer Blowout

PARAGOULD, Ark. - Sophomore Ke Roberson ignited for a double double and a career high in scoring with 27 points and 13 rebounds as Crowley's Ridge College rolled past Bacone (Okla.) College 107-62 in the Pioneers' conference opener.

CRC (5-11) took a 46-33 lead into the half, before shooting a blistering 53% in the second half, including 10-for-20 from the three point line as a team. The Pioneers took what was a close first half and extended their lead to as much as 47 points late in the second half. The score was tied three times and there were two lead changes, all in the first half of play.
Kyle Moore added 16 points and eight assists on the afternoon. Braeden Williams scored 15 points to go with eight assists of his own. C.J. Maxwell also added double-digit scoring with 14 points in the win.
CRC out rebounded the Warriors (1-11) 46-33 on the afternoon. As a team the Pioneers handed out 27 assists with only six turnovers.

The Pioneers will play their fifth game in seven days by traveling to Bethel (Tenn.) University Wildcats for a Monday evening remtach. Tipoff from Crisp Arena in McKenzie is on January 11th at 7 p.m.
