Pioneers Escape Eagles With Victory

MIDWAY, Ky. - Freshman Tyrell Ware blocked a last-second shot attempt to secure a Crowley's Ridge College road win over Midway University 71-69.

Midway (3-7) led by one at the half in a back and forth game. The score was tied eight times with 13 lead changes on the afternoon.

Kyle Moore and K.J. Corder led Crowley's Ridge (7-14) with 16 points each. Logan Willett added 13 points on eight of nine shooting from the free-throw line.

UP NEXT

The Pioneers return home after a four-game road trip by hosting the Baptist Bible (Mo.) College Patriots. BBC defeated the Pioneers in Missouri back on November 17 with an 82-80 game.

The double-header with the Patriots from the Carter Activities Center is Monday, January 23 with the ladies tipping off at 5:00 p.m., with the men following immediately after tentatively at 7:00 p.m.
