Pioneers Fall Down the Stretch

PARAGOULD, Ark. - Baptist Bible College outscored the Pioneers 15-3 in the last 4:29 in route to a 93-88 win at the Carter Activity Center.

CRC (7-15) took a 51-44 lead into the halftime break, but nine second-half three-pointers by the Patriots kept them close enough to pull out the win late. BBC (12-3) shot 14 of 47 from the three-point line on the night.

K.J. Corder and Kyle Moore each scored 16 points for Crowley's Ridge College. Ke Roberson added 15 points in the loss.

The Pioneers will host Lincoln Christian (Ill.) in a rematch of the double-overtime thriller loss two weeks ago. Tipoff on Saturday, January 29 is immediately following the women's contest, set tentatively at 3 p.m.
