HOT SHOOTING DILLARD DOWNS PIONEERS- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 12-17-22

PARAGOULD, AR - Dillard University jumped to a 10-2 lead to start the game. Crowley's Ridge College would reclaim the lead after Ke Roberson grabbed a loose ball. Roberson then threw it ahead to Jaylen Bozeman on a fast break where Bozeman dished it to Alex Mero, helping the Pioneers to a 21-20 lead. The Pioneer lead would not hold as the Bleu Devils took control with a 41-33 lead into the half. Dillard University shot  8 for 13 from the three-point line in the half. The Bleu Devils' attack continued and they used a 10-2 run midway through the second half to pull away and secure the 90-72 win. 

Dillard out-rebounded CRC 45-34 in the afternoon. The Blue Devils also finished the day with 12 of 30 three-point shooting. 

Braxton Cousins led CRC with 18 points and eight rebounds. Bo Roberson finished with a double-double for the Pioneers with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
