Men's Basketball hosted Welch College in their last matchup before heading to Espanola, New Mexico for a Conference Weekend in the CAC Classic at Northern New Mexico. In tonight's game, Cousins would produce a season-high performance in the contest but it would be in vain as the Pioneers would fall to the Flames.

PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College jumped out to an early 13-point lead before Welch College started to roll to a 41-33 halftime lead. The Flames stayed hot in the second half in route to an 85-68 win over the Pioneers. 

Despite CRC shooting a season-best 57.1%, the Pioneers could not match the Welch College attack. Welch outrebounded CRC 31-16 on the night and shot 55.2% from the floor including eight of 19 from the three-point line. 

The lone bright spot for CRC was Sophomore Braxton Cousins with 35 points and seven rebounds. Bo Roberson added 17 points for the Pioneers.
