HOT SHOOTING EAGLES DEFEAT PIONEERS-Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 1-6-23

Crowley's Ridge College hit the court in their second and last matchup of the CAC classic in New Mexico. The Pioneers pulled out a close win yesterday, against the hosting team, Northern New Mexico College, 82-81. The Pioneers would end their weekend 1-1 as hot-shooting Iowa Wesleyan defeated CRC 76-48. 

ESPANOLA, NM - Iowa Wesleyan made 10 first-half three-pointers and took a 50-30 lead at the half. The Eagles were held to only two from long distance in the second half but pulled out a 76-48 conference win over Crowley's Ridge College.

Braxton Cousins led CRC with 10 points in the loss.

Crowley's Ridge College falls to 1-1 in conference play. Iowa Wesleyan improves to 1-0 in conference play.
