PIONEERS KNOCK OFF HASKELL

Men's Basketball wrapped up their week of play in a road game in Lawrence, KS against a conference opponent, Haskell Indian Nations University. Both teams would fight for the lead in the first half going into the break. It would seem the Pioneers would be the team on top at the halfway point, but a buzzer-beater shot from Haskell changed the roles and CRC entered trailing one, 41-40. A strong effort late in the game from the Pioneers would end them on top, claiming the conference win. 

LAWRENCE, KS - Crowley's Ridge College pulled out a tough conference road win over Haskell Nations University 82-78.

Ke Roberson made three late free throws, and the Pioneers' defense came up with a stop to secure the win.

BJ Johnson put up a double-double on the day with 32 points and 15 rebounds. Bo Roberson added 16 points in the win.

Roberson is now only two points away from the career all-time leading scorer TeWayne Smith.
