PIONEERS GO COLD LATE IN LOSS
PARAGOULD, AR - Braxton Cousins scored for Crowley's Ridge College with 2:35 to play in the second half to cut the Central Baptist lead to one point at 70-69, but the Mustangs would finish the game on a 9-0 run en route to the 79-69 win.
CBC won the rebounding battle 40-26 in the afternoon and the Mustangs added 16 second-chance points on 10 offensive rebounds.
Zak Brown led the Pioneers with 23 points and Jerrodney Tubbs added 18 points and eight rebounds from the bench in the loss.
