PIONEERS LOSE TOUGH ROAD GAME
McKENZIE, TN - Bethel University jumped out to an early 12-point lead and took a 45-42 lead at the half. Crowley's Ridge College came out in the second half hot and led by as much as eight points late. Missed shots by the Pioneers and baskets made by the Wildcats helped Bethel pull out the 86-81 win.
Zak Brown led CRC with 21 points. Braxton Cousins added 14 points while Hayden Robinson and Gavin Hall each scored 10 points.
Bethel improves to 9-1 on the season, while CRC falls to 7-5.
