HOT SHOOTING STOPS PIONEERS
PARAGOULD, AR - Fourteenth-ranked William Woods University shot 63.3% in the first half and finished with a 52.2% effort for the game en route to a 93-64 conference win over Crowley's Ridge College.
The Pioneers trailed early and found themselves behind 49-30 at the break. CRC was outrebounded 39-24 on the night on top of only shooting 39.3% from the floor.
Lamont Jackson led CRC with 14 points and Hayden Robinson added 13 points in the Pioneers effort.
CRC fell to 13-9 on the season and 7-5 in the American Midwest Conference. William Woods improves to 20-2 overall and 12-1 in AMC play.
