PIONEERS SWEEP HWY 412 SERIES
PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College never trailed and led by as much as 24 in the second half in route to a 83-64 win over Williams Baptist University. With the win, CRC sweeps the two games this season over the Eagles.
CRC held WBU to 34.4% shooting and only seven for 28 from the three point line. The Pioneers shot 46.7% from the floor and converted on all 13 free throws in the second half.
Lamont Jackson led CRC with 20 points and Zak Brown added 18 points in the win. Timquorian Johnson scored 15 points and Braxton Cousins had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers.
CRC improves to 14-9 overall and 8-5 in American Midwest Conference play. Williams Baptist falls to 4-15 overall and 1-12 in conference play.
