PIONEERS PICK UP FIRST CONFERENCE WIN
PARAGOULD, AR - Cole Nichols provided a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers to a 72-67 conference win over the University of Health Science Pharmacy.
Nichols converted seven of eight free throws and also handed out four assists on the night. Azani Smith also added 15 points for CRC.
CRC out-rebounded the Eutectics 47 to 28, including 22 to five in offensive rebounds. The Pioneers converted those offensive rebounds into 13 second-chance points on the night.
