PARAGOULD, AR - Azani Smith scored a team high 18 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers to a 89-83 conference win over Harris Stowe State University in front of a sell-out Homecoming crowd. 
 
CRC fell behind early as the Hornets led by six points with 7:28 to play in the first half. The Pioneers finished the half with a three-pointer at the buzzer by Azani Smith to tie the score at 41 each at the halftime break. 
 
The game was tied 12 times, and there were 12 lead changes in the afternoon. The Pioneers took their largest lead at eight points with 10:08 to play in the game. 
 
Azani Smith made three of four free throws in the final minute to secure the win. Caleb Wade added two free throws of his own to push the CRC lead to five points with 0:52 to play. 
 
Seniors Ethan Bell and Hayden Robinson each scored 15 points in their final game at the Carter Activities Center after being honored before the game on Senior Day. Cole Nichols added 14 points, and Caleb Wade scored 12 points in the win. 
 
Braiden Burk and Peyton Griffith were both honored before the game and were both in the starting lineups, as they will both graduate from CRC. 
 
Up Next: The Pioneers will finish the season on the road with two regular-season contests remaining. CRC will face the Trojans of HLGU on Thursday, February 19th, at 7:30 PM. #GOPIONEERS
