Bio
Brady Flynn enters his third season at CRC and this year, will be taking on a new title of Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach. In only Flynn’s second season with the program, Crowley’s Ridge Men’s Basketball more than doubled its win total from the previous season and made an American Midwest Conference (AMC) postseason appearance in the team's first year of eligibility. Not only did the Pioneers finish the 2024-2025 season above .500, but this season ranks as the best in school history since CRC joined the NAIA in the 2017-2018 season. Since Flynn has taken over player development responsibilities, Crowley’s Ridge has seen multiple players receive accolades from their conference. Braxton Cousins received back-to-back all-conference honorable mentions and broke the all-time scoring record at CRC with 1,579 points. Zak Brown was named third team All-AMC and led the Pioneers in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game in the 2024-25 season. Josh Lazzarino was also the recipient of the NAIA AMC Champions of Character award following the completion of the 2024-25 season.
“I want to express my gratitude for Coach Perkins and his decision in promoting me to associate head coach,” Flynn said. “I’m humbled to be a part of such a supportive college, athletic program, and staff. I’m beyond excited for the opportunity to continue impacting our student-athletes in this new role both on and off the court, as we continue our pursuit of an AMC Championship. Something special is happening at CRC, and I can’t wait to see what our team can achieve TOGETHER!”
Flynn was most recently on staff from 2021-2023 with Shorter University (GA), where he served as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach. Flynn was responsible for starting the first junior varsity basketball program at Shorter in the Division II era, as well as leading the JV Hawks to a winning record in their first season. In addition, Brady served as the creative content director and was responsible for running the Shorter Men’s Basketball social media platforms.
Flynn previously spent two seasons from 2019-2021 at Liberty University (VA) where he worked for Liberty Women’s Basketball as a student manager. He assisted with video breakdown, scouting reports, player development, and internal operations both on and off the court. The Liberty Lady Flames posted a 39-19 combined record from 2019-2021 and were Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Co-Champions in the 2019-2020 season.
“I had the pleasure of having Brady as a part of my basketball program for the last two years, and I can attest to his solid work ethic, his involvement in our school and community, and his character. Brady’s personal characteristics may be even more impressive. He is an extremely honest, bright and congenial young man who has great fortitude and high ethical standards. He is hardworking, honest and a creative thinker that is always a catalyst for positive change.”
—Carey Green, Retired Liberty University Head Women’s Basketball Coach
In the off-season, Flynn spends his time recruiting all over the country. He can still be seen throughout the southeast working for HoopSeen (GA) - The Authority in Grassroots Basketball, as a tournament site director. In addition, he has also worked camps for the University of Tennessee, University of Virginia, University of Richmond, and Berry College. When not working camps, Brady also spent time supervising internal game operations for The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 Million Dollar Winner-Take-All Basketball Tournament on ESPN.
The Schoolcraft, MI native holds a masters degree in business administration from Shorter University as well as an undergraduate degree in coaching from Liberty University. Brady currently resides in Paragould, AR.
