Conway, AR- Pioneer Golf wrapped up their time at CBC's Spring Invite this afternoon, and after the two-day 36-hole event, the Pioneers would finish tied for 11th as a team with freshman Christopher "The Bear" Riddle placing 6th individually. 

Riddle paced his team in all three rounds, shooting a 79 (+7) in round one, a 77 (+5) in round two, and an invitational best 74 (+2) in round three. The California native totaled 6 birdies and would end with a 230 (+14) score to end the tournament in 6th place, the best collegiate finish of his young career. 

Christian Walls finished up behind Riddle at the number two spot as Walls shot an 84 (+12) on day one, an 82 (+10) in round two, and matched Riddle's theme with his best finish of 77 (+5) in round three. Walls would only sink two birdies in the invitational, landing him in 36th place with a total score of 243 (+27). 

Slayde Barker crossed the line in the middle of the pack with the freshmen shooting an 89 (+17), an 87 (+15), and an 85 (+13) over the three rounds. Barker also found two birdies in the tournament, with both coming in the final trip around the course. Barker finishes with 261 (+45) strokes, earning him 58th place. 

Taking the fourth slot for the Pioneers was senior Kyle Russell, who showed the most improvement by shaving off more and more strokes each trip. In the invite, Russell shot a 99 (+27), 94 (+22), and finished with an 83 (+11). Russell sank one birdie in the invite and would total 276 (+60) strokes to finish 66th overall. 

John Wilson, the team's alternate, wrapped up the invite with consecutive rounds of improvement, making his collegiate golf debut.
