In game one the Lady Pioneers saw an even draw with Shelby Elrod leading the charge in her third season start. The Pioneers would get two runners on in the first with Maddie Reed taking the no-hitter off the table early with a single to left field. Dru Bryant would reach on an error, but both runners would end stranded. In the second inning, Autum Maxell drew a 2-out walk, but again the Pioneers left their runner on base. The Eagles struck in the bottom half of inning 2 with a solo shot off Elrod taking the 1-0 lead. The Pioneers went three up-three down for the next three innings while Southwestern tacked on 4 more runs. The Pioneers glowing at bat for the contest was by Brooklyn Melson in the top of the 7th as she cranked a solo shot HR giving the Pioneers their third hit and only run of the game in the contest.

Game two would only go 5 innings, as Southwestern bought the bats from the start overloading their side of the scoreboard. Though the Pioneers were defeated they matched the Eagles in HR's. The Pioneers again did not score in the top of the first, but the Eagles opened the game with a massive 10-run in the first inning. Bailey Cupples got the Pioneers on the board with a solo shot to center field in the third that sparked a three-run inning cutting the score to 3-13 Southwestern. The Eagles would push 6 more across in the bottom half of the same inning taking away all CRC progress. The Pioneers depended on the long ball to get runs across once again as Madison Erickson hit a 2-run shot to right field scoring McKenna Dunham. The last Pioneer run to cross the plate was due to a Hannah Burk sac fly to right field in the bottom of the 5th. Pioneers fall the Eagles 20-6.
