Pioneer Softball concluded their time in the "Turfs Up" tournament hosted In Branson, MO where they were run-ruled in both contests today. The Lady Pioneers fall to 1-5 on the season.
Game 1

University of Nebraska-Kearney-8
Branson, MO- NCAA DII University of Nebraska-Kearbey finished the Pioneers with five innings in game one. The Lopers doubled the Pioneers' hits in the contest, seeing their 8 runs come off 10 hits compared to the Pioneers' 5 team hits. Karsen Overshine, Kourtni Jagneaux, and Shelbie Walker all had one hit in the contest with Olivia Lanham leading the offense going (2-2) with a double. Aimee Buckley took the loss in her collegiate starting debut. The freshman allowed 8 runs off 9 hits while walking 1 and striking out 2 in 4.0 innings.

Evangel University- 11
Branson, MO- Crowley's Ridge again fell in 5 innings with the Evangel University pitching staff shutting down Pioneers batters, and holding the Pioneers to one hit for the afternoon. The Valor asserted their dominance, scoring 11 runs off 13 hits with 11 RBIs. Karsen Overshine claimed the team's sole hit with a double in the fourth inning. Katlyn Erickson took the loss throwing 2.0 innings surrendering 3 runs off 5 hits and striking out 2.
