The Scots responded by retaking the lead and holding the Pioneers scoreless until senior Jocelyn Villarreal took the spotlight as the Florida native brought in the Pioneers' next three runs including a critical game-tying 2RBI single in the top half of the 7th. Olivia Lanham finished off the Pioneer comeback with her game-winning RBI single to left field to close the inning. Ava Jessup got the win, relieving starter Natalie Brightwell.
