Game One: (5 Innings)

Crowley's Ridge- 2

Oklahoma Wesleyan- 12

Bartlesville, OK- Pioneer Softball fell to the Eagles of OKWU in the opening contest of the four-game series by a score of 12-2. A four-run offensive rush by the Eagles in the bottom of the first, followed by a seven-run rush in the second, was the decision maker in the contest's victor. The Pioneers scraped two runs in the contest with a run in the first off sophomore Jordan Janak, singling to drive in junior Jada Diaz, and then again in the top of the fifth, where junior Maddie Burris drew the bases loaded walk to score sophomore Olivia Lanham. Jada Diaz led the offense with her 2-3 effort, scoring one run. Jordan Janak and Carrie Anna Davis each added a hit in the contest. 


Game Two: (5 Innings)

Crowley's Ridge- 0

Oklahoma Wesleyan- 12

Bartlesville, OK- In game two, the Eagles of OKWU would again emerge victorious over the Pioneers with a 12-run win, though this time the hosting team would lengthen their victory by shutting out CRC in the 5-inning matchup. In the game, Jordan Janak led the offense, going 2-2 with two singles, and Aimee Buckley followed with her 1-2 effort. 

Up Next: The Pioneers will hit the field tomorrow at 12:00 PM to kick start the series final doubleheader. #GOPIONEERS
