Game One: (5-inings)

Pioneer Park- Tennessee Southern claimed both contests this afternoon, opening the doubleheader with an explosive 17-6 win over the Pioneers. Despite falling in the contest, the Pioneers linked together a very respectable hitting performance, scoring 6 runs off 9 hits, which was highlighted by sophomore Cloey Miller's 2-run homer and junior Hailey Tarrants' 2-2 effort from the box as Tarrants drove in 4 RBIs for the Pioneers. Sophomore Aimee Buckley was also perfect from the plate, piecing together a 3-3 effort with a double in the loss.
Game Two: (5-innings)
Crowley's Ridge- 2
Tennessee Southern- 15
Pioneer Park- In round two, the Firehawks controlled the pace of the contest, limiting the Pioneers to just 2 runs off 4 hits while lacing out 13 knocks and scoring 15 runs to defeat the Pioneers via run-rule for a consecutive time. Jordan Janak led the offense, going 2-3 with a double. Maddie Burris and Jada Diaz also added one hit each, with Burris singling and Diaz tripling in the fifth frame.
