Crowley's Ridge showed pop in the lineup, smashing out a season high 17 hits, but would fall to the Scots, who pushed a game-winning run to the plate in the bottom of the seventh. Six Pioneers collected multiple hits in the matchup, with Maddie Burris being perfect from the box, leading the Pioneers with the sophomore going 4-4 with 2 doubles, and 4 RBIs in the shootout contest. Game Two: (5-innings)

Crowley's Ridge- 0

Lyon College-11

Batesville, AR- Game two would be a flip-flop of the opening contest, with the Scots holding the Pioneers runless and nearly hitless to take the contest via run rule. This round, CRC would only find the grass for two hits as a team with Lyon College, transforming into a nearly impenetrable defensive wall. Senior Lilly Wessel claimed both hits for the Pioneers, going 2-2 with singles in the first and fourth innings.

Up Next: The Pioneers will stay on the road, taking on Texas A&M Texarkana on Tuesday, March 17th. #GOPIONEERS
