Lady Pioneers Cruise to a Road Win

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Crowley's Ridge College Lady Pioneers jumped out to an early 22-5 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 78-55 win over Ecclesia College.

The Lady Pioneers converted 20 total team assists and forced 24 Ecclesia turnovers in the win.

Crowley's Ridge built it's largest lead (33 points) with 5:56 to go in the third quarter. The Royals' Haley Gresham (25 points) tried to mount an Ecclesia comeback in the fourth with hot theee-point shooting, but CRC stood their ground.

The Pioneers received quality minutes from the entire roster. Alexus Taylor led the team in scoring with 21 points. Elly Burrell added 13 points. Freshman Nakeeva Brandon contributed 10 points off the bench. And point guard Bug Johnson led the team in rebounds (7) and assists (5) and added eight points to the total.
