Lady 'Neers fall victim to three-point barrage

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Crowley's Ridge fell to the Pensacola Christian (Fla.) Lady Eagles in a 90-69 contest that saw the hosting Lady Eagles connect for 12 three-point field goals.

Crowley's Ridge (3-1) fell behind early with Pensacola Christian (2-1) opening up the first quarter with a 30-17 advantage. Both squads shot 36% from the floor in the first half, but the Eagles' six long balls dwarfed the Lady Pioneers' two.

CRC battled back in the third quarter, outscoring PCC 23-19, but a 24-point fourth quarter sealed the contest with a 90-69 final.

Madison Sellars collected another double-double, scoring 16 points while pulling down 10 rebounds. Lotti Hoffman followed with 14 points.

The Lady Pioneers will look to bounce back in Pensacola tomorrow, November 13, playing the Lady Eagles of Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College at 11 a.m.
