Lady Pioneers out-rebounded in second loss

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Crowley's Ridge College was out-rebounded 56-35 in Saturday's loss to Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College. The Lady Pioneers dropped consecutive games for the first time this season 72-66.

The Lady Pioneers (3-2) jumped ahead to an early five-point lead, but Toccoa Falls (3-2) rallied to take a 20-13 lead into the second quarter. CRC answered with a 19-point second quarter to venture to the locker room down 36-32. The Lady 'Neers narrowed the lead to as few as two points with 3:00 remaining, but a late surge by the Eagles ended the game with a 72-66 final. The Eagles pulled down 22 offensive rebounds.

Crowley's Ridge was led offensively by Madison Sellars' 17 points. Lotti Hoffman added 12 points, while Shmyira Brown earned 10 points.
