Pensacola, FL- The Lady Pioneers continued their gameplay in Pensacola, FL after claiming their first win of the season in their season opener yesterday against Trinity Baptist College where the Pioneers soared over the Eagles of TBC with a win of 97-78. This afternoon's contest yielded the same result for CRC as they handled the hosting Eagles of Pensacola Christian College with a final stat line of 81-64 in favor of CRC. The Lady Pioneers jumped ahead of Pensacola Christian with a 13-point lead after one-quarter of action and increased it as they took a 20-point gap into the break leading the PCC Eagles 48-28. When the second half resumed the Lady Pioneers left no doubt as they climbed ahead by as much as 32 in the third quarter. CRC coasted their way to a hefty 81-64 point victory, winning both contests in Pensacola. 

Sophomore Brinley Morgan co-led the Pioneers in points with 21 as she could hardly miss from beyond the arc shooting 6-9 from three. Senior Travia Woodruff matched Morgan's efforts with 21 additional points while filling out the stat sheet as she added 4 assists, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds in the contest. Sophomore Hunter Gibson claimed the last double-digit scoring spot with 17 points. Lastly, freshman Jordan Rasmussen led the team as she brought down a team-high 7 rebounds in the victory.
