Lady Pioneer Basketball was handed their first loss of the season this evening by the Lady Eutectics of UHSP. The Pioneers fall to 4-1 on the season and 0-1 in the American Midwest Conference.

Paragould, Ark.- Crowley's Ridge Women's Basketball hosted AMC opponent UHSP this evening for their home and conference opener. In the four quarter contest, CRC trailed the Lady Eutectics for three quarters only seeing the lead at the conclusion of the third quarter thanks to the Pioneers best scoring effort of 21 points. Woefully, with season low field goal and 3-point percentages, the Pioneers would ultimately fall to the Lady Eutectics. Joi Montgomery posted her fifth consecutive double-double by leading the team with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Travia Woodruff added 13 points and 7 assists in the loss.
