The (RV) Lady Cougars of Columbia College swiftly defeated the Lady Pioneers this evening dropping CRC to 5-2 on the year and 1-2 in the American Midwest Conference.

Columbia, MO- The Lady Pioneers hit the court this evening, returning to action after the Thanksgiving Holiday with a conference road match against (RV) Columbia College. In the contest, the Cougars would hold all control over Crowley's Ridge as the Lady Pioneers struggled, shooting 23.7 percent from the floor and 20.0 percent from three, while also being outrebounded 61-24. Going into halftime, the Lady Cougars took a demanding 53-13 lead which played a key role in the Cougars conference win as the Pioneers bounced back in the second half, outsourcing Columbia 37-36. Painfully, the damage done by the Cougars in the opening quarters proved detrimental and ensured the Pioneers' demise. Joi Montgomery led the Pioneers with 19 points and 4 rebounds in 21 minutes of action.
