Lady Pioneer Basketball dropped to 5-4 overall and 1-4 in the American Midwest Conference as they fell to the Lady Patriots of Mission Univesity in their 1:00 PM contest.

Paragould, Ark.- Women's Basketball faced their third consecutive loss this afternoon with the 7-2 Lady Patriots besting the Pioneers at home. CRC came out on top over Mission University after the opening quarter with a lead of five before narrowly fending off the Patriots as CRC squeaked out ahead at the break by one, 48-47. Today's separation came in the second half as Mission Universty rallied back, taking advantage of Lady Pioneer turnovers and cold shooting. At the end of the third, CRC saw Mission take their first quarter lead of the contest with the Patriots taking a 72-67 advantage before running away with the content in the final 10 minutes. In the final quarter, Mission University put the contest away outscoring the Pioneers 21-9, winning the conference matchup.

Joi Montgomery led the offense with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Ansley Dawson posted her second consecutive game of double digit points as the sophomore buckted 19 for the afternoon. Lastly, Brooklyn Kearbey finished with 17 points and 6 assists in the set back contest.
