Women's Basketball fell to American Midwest Conference opponent Cottey College this evening, dropping Crowley's Ridge to 6-8 on the year and 1-8 in the AMC.

Nevada, MO- The Lady Pioneers faced their fourth consecutive loss this evening as the Comets slid past the Pioneers in tonight's AMC matchup. Crowley's Ridge ended the opening quarter ahead by 1, 16-15, before the Comets caught orbit and strided past the Pioneers. Cottey College changed gears on both sides, holding the Pioneer offense to single-digit quarters for the remainder of the contest while posting double-digit efforts on their offensive end. CRC shot 25.9%  from the floor and was outrebounded 41-28 by the Comets in the loss. Sophomore Ansley Dawson led the Pioneers with 12 points, shooting 3-5 from behind the arc in the set-back contest.
