Nevada, MO- The Pioneers returned to the court after the Thanksgiving Holiday to face the Comets of Cottey College on the road in the season's first American Midwest Conference matchup of the year. After four quarters, the Comets would pull away from their two-point halftime lead, 32-30, to win the contest, 74-56 over the Pioneers. Six Pioneers found the basket in tonight's contest, led by junior forward Kyrsten Bake, who paced the team with 28 points and 13 rebounds for the double-double. Sophomore Brailey Houseman and senior Makayla Herndon each added 8 points for the Pioneers in the loss. 

Up Next: The team will have a short day of rest before taking on the (RV) Lady Cougars of Columbia College Saturday, December 6th.
