Paragould, AR- Women's Basketball narrowly claimed the evening's American Midwest Conference matchup as they took a 28-23 point lead into the break over the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange University, but would have the conference win slip their grasp in the second half as HLGU rallied back, making up the difference by outscoring the Pioneers 31-20 the back end of the matchup. CRC dominated the rebounds, outrebounding the Trojans 50-27 on the night. Sophomore Mallory Welch led the Pioneers with 13 points in the loss, while sophomore Brailey Houseman and junior Kyrsten Bake finished with double-doubles of 10 rebounds & 11 points (Houseman), and 11 rebounds & 11 points (Bake).
