PARAGOULD, Ark. – Student-athletes from Florida College, Cottey (Mo.) College, and Crowley's Ridge College have been named the Continental Athletic Conference volleyball Players of the Week as the season nears the home stretch.

Florida College junior Adriana Bravo, the Attacker of the Week, tallied 35 kills and hit .304 as the Falcons won two of three matches in the CAC Classic last weekend at Haskell (Kan.) Indian Nation University. The Caracas, Venezuela, native had 16 kills in a five-set loss to Cottey College last Friday. Bravo followed with 10 kills in a 3-0 victory against Crowley's Ridge College later in the day.

Bravo added nine kills compared to one error in a triumph against Lincoln Christian (Ill.) University last Saturday. She averaged 3.18 kills per set and recorded 10 service aces across the three matches.

Meanwhile, Cottey freshman Staley Stallaby, the Setter of the Week, recorded 102 assists and averaged 8.50 assists per set across three matches. She helped the Comets win two of the three matches in the CAC Classic. Stallaby had 50 assists in a 3-2 victory against Florida College last Friday. She followed with 21 assists in a 3-0 loss to Florida National University later in the day.

Stallaby also had 31 assists in a 3-1 victory against Ozark Christian last Tuesday. She recorded double-doubles against Ozark Christian and Florida College with 10 and 14 digs, respectively.

Kaitlyn Perkins of Crowley's Ridge earned the Defender of the Week award after recording 37 digs in a three-set loss to Lincoln Christian University. She had a 12.33 average per set in the contest. The Willow Springs, Missouri, native, has anchored the Pioneers' defense throughout the season, ranking fourth nationally by averaging 6.25 digs per set.
