Eagles out-rebound Pioneers for the win

PARAGOULD, Ark. – Northern New Mexico College's size proved too much for the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College as the Eagles outrebounded CRC 42-26 en route to a 90-74 conference win.

CRC (2-15, 0-1 CAC) jumped out early with a 10 point lead in the first half. NNMC (6-2, 1-0 CAC) used second-chance points to take the lead into the half at 41-35. The Eagles pulled down 12 offensive rebounds in the first half to the Pioneers zero, leading to an 11-0 second-chance point advantage.

Sophomore Bo Roberson led CRC with 35 points - tying his career-high point park - and nine rebounds on the night. Braxton Cousins added 13 points and eight rebounds. Marion McFadden scored 11 points in the loss.

The Eagles finished the game with a 20-6 advantage on second-chance points over the Pioneers.
