MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – The seventh seed Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College gave the two seed Washington Adventist (Md.) University all they wanted in the opening round of the Continental Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament. Two late baskets by the Storm (19-9, 5-0 CAC) helped them pull out the 55-51 win.
Bo Roberson led the Pioneers 4-23, 2-7 CAC) with 14 points on the day. Marion McFadden added 10 points for CRC.
